Hey! We're
- a husband and wife powerhouse. Our story? We'll make it short - we met online, got married, and do ministry together in San Marcos, Texas. We both have a passion for Jesus and media. Kyland leans towards capturing those special moments in motion, while his better half gravitates towards hanging those special moments on the wall.
You're probably wondering what sets us apart from other photographers & videographers, right? That would be our personalities. Paige is a social butterfly and natural-born "boss-your-family-and-in-laws-around-to-get-the-family-portraits-done-so-they-can-eat" kind of gal. Kyland? You'll barely notice he's there when he's not cracking dark jokes or talking about anime.

We like to think of ourselves as architects. We'll of course grab those "everyone, look at the camera!" shots that your parents will plaster allover Facebook - but our goal is to go above and beyond to not only capture those perfect moments - but to help create them. We’ll prompt you some questions, movements, and games so that we can step back and let you and your love just be.
And as you've probably noticed, we like to have a lot of fun with our photos! Kyland is notorious for scheming with your wedding party and pitting your friends against you to "organically" coax some of those fun candids out of you. Also be prepared for those "hey, whisper the most random thing you can think of in your partner's ear to make them laugh" type of prompts.

We're your ever-so-slightly awkward third wheels. Whatever you need, it's done. From the moment you book with us, all attention is on you. We'll help prep and choose the best locations with the most gorgeous backgrounds, choose the best timing for lighting, and assist with timelines however we can. Our goal is to make this as effortless and comfortable as we can for you - no one has to stress out. You can totally boss us around. Need someone to carry your flowers? Bustle your dress? Let you know if there's hair in your face? Take a photo with your phone while we set down our expensive cameras? Paige is your gal. Kyland probably won't do any of that.

01. CONNECT
Reach out and you'll receive a resource with tips, more information, and a quick questionnaire! Through this resource, you'll gain a better sense as to how working with us will be!
02. COFFEE CHAT
The next step is to book a consultation with us to get to know each other and chat to make sure Better Half is right for you. We encourage you to ask as many questions as possible during this time! We can offer insight based on our experiences and help give some direction and tips when putting together your timeline.
03. MAKE THINGS OFFICIAL
If we’re a good fit, we’ll send you a proposal with a contract to make our partnership official. Once you submit it your date is secured on our calendar, and you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing you’ve just found your official videographer & photographer!
04. ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Next, we'll get to know each other in one of our complimentary engagement sessions! This is a great opportunity for us to ensure we capture your personalities! This also gives you a chance to see what it's like to work with us and be better prepared (and more relaxed) on your wedding day!

05. GET PREPPED
We'll send you more questionnaires and shot lists during the weeks and months leading up to your wedding. We'll also send you a check-list and best practices email a week before your big day with some tips and tricks to help you prepare!
06. CUE THE WEDDING BELLS!
The big day has finally arrived. It’s going to be great! We'll get to your venue early to scout out the layout and lighting. Thanks to all the planning and prep we’ve done, you can simply relax and enjoy the moment while we do our thing!
07. THE DELIVERY
Your full gallery and film will be delivered within 8 weeks of your big day. The photos may be sent in increments (such as the portraits, the getting-ready shots, etc...). Once delivered, you'll be able to download the entire gallery, mark your favorites, and even order physical prints - all from the gallery!
Pro tip: Plan a date night with your new spouse to watch your film and look through the photos together! You can relive the joy of that day all over again!
